Interactive multimedia was a logical extension of Nygren's photographic skills for story telling. After attending Boston Universities Photojournalism program, his work developed into using multipule mediums converging into a whole, total sensual experience.

"The idea that you could intergrate video, photography, sound, and peresonal interactivity into a unified whole was a real revelation and revolution. It was a new kind of story telling that changed everything, book publishing, movies, music. It's all new and could be intregrated into a whole."

Currently, Nygren is the Webmaster and interactive media person at the Springfield Police Dept. He also freelances in his spare time.
